Butterflies can't live just anywhere

A butterfly will usually live in plant populated areas, and will live and die in a narrow region. There are some that migrate, but very few species will fly too far from home.
Butterflies can be found almost anywhere, in fields, forests, etc.
There are few places anymore where butterflies cannot be found, such as polar regions.
